In 2011, a larger number of individuals purchased an electric vehicle than in 2010. To benefit from the tax on income, they should soon correct the data concerning this purchase and specify in the declaration in the personal income tax assessment of year 2012.

Recently 9 cars were nominated for the titel ‘Clean Car of the Year 2012’. The Renault Twingo, Mitsubishi iMiev and Toyota iQ got nominated in the category 'City', and the Opel Ampera, Volkswagen Passat and Chevrolet Volt have been selected in the category ‘Fleet’. This edition will also elect a Clean Car of the Year in a general category.
The nominees in this category are the Volkswagen Polo, Chevrolet Volt and Opel Ampera. On january the 10th at 11.00 h, during the press-day athe 90th Car Salon in Hall 8, the awards will be presented to the three winners.

read more01/12/2011 - Nissan Begins Global Proving Tests for NV200 based Electric Vehicles
YOKOHAMA (July 4, 2011) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will begin global proving tests starting July 2011 of an electric vehicle (EV) based on the compact commercial vehicle NV200. For the first phase, the Japan Post Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Shinichi Nabekura) will carry out a test in Japan starting July. One test vehicle will be provided to carry out postal collection and delivery tasks for approximately two months in the city of Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, to evaluate the vehicle's capabilities under a customer's normal usage conditions. Later, similar proving tests will be carried out both in Japan and Europe, where similar evaluations will be carried out with other companies.
